Quite often for conducting business in the territory of the Republic of Latvia a foreign merchant pursuant to immigration law is obliged to obtain a permanent or contemporary residence permit, as well as a labour permit or, in case of stay with no purpose to perform commercial activities, – a relevant residence permit.
