Audit

Statutory audits

Your company, whether an independent French company or a subsidiary of an international group, may be required by law to appoint a statutory auditor under French law or may wish to appoint such an auditor on a voluntary basis. We perform statutory audits in accordance with French auditing standards. Based on our assessment of internal controls, our statutory audit is planned with the objective of issuing a report containing our professional opinion.

If your company is part of an international group, we can complete your consolidation package and issue an opinion addressed to your group auditors.

Contract audits and limited reviews

On the basis of a contractual agreement, we can carry out a full audit or a limited review of specific financial data according to your requirements. With experts in a wide range of fields, we are able to provide a complete diagnostic of your business, including financial, tax and payroll audits.

Due Diligence

If you intend to acquire a company in France, we can assist you with an audit of all the key aspects of the proposed transaction: financial, tax, social and legal (in collaboration with our colleagues at ECOVIS MD Legal).

For French clients wishing to develop their business abroad, our international specialists can carry out audits of target companies in English and German-speaking countries.

We can also offer the services of French-speaking professionals with appropriate accounting and auditing qualifications in Germany.

Internal control audits

Our experience in designing and implementing internal control procedures enables us to audit your management control system with the aim of providing pragmatic advice on improvements and developments. See also the Internal Control section.

Special purpose audits

We can carry out various special audits, whether statutory or contractually agreed, in connection with the restructuring or reorganisation of your business:

  • Statutory report on merger or contribution of assets
  • Statutory report on a change in the legal form of a company
  • Study of the accounting and tax consequences of a restructuring or redundancy plan
  • Audit specifically aimed at detecting fraud
