Dr. Claire Galea

Claire joined ECOVIS in 2014, after obtaining the Doctor of Laws (LL.D) degree from the University of Malta and was admitted to the bar as advocate in 2015. She has also obtained her IFSP Foundation Certificate in Trusts Law and Management in 2016 and the Malta Institute of Taxation Diploma in Taxation in 2015.

Claire heads the Legal Department and assists local and international clients in corporate and commercial law matters. She has extensive experience in the field of intellectual property, corporate governance and financial services and assists clients on matters related to compliance, fiduciary and trust obligations.

Claire is actively involved in the provision of advisory services in AML/CFT obligations, and she also occupies the role of Compliance Officer within the ECOVIS Malta group.
