Angele Sammut

Angele joined ECOVIS in 2010 after obtaining the Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) degree from the University of Malta. She has since worked in the firm’s audit practice and has over the years worked on numerous local and international clients. Angele is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants (MIA), holding a practicing certificate in auditing.

In 2019, Angele was appointed as a Director of the ECOVIS (Malta) Group. She has significant hands-on audit experience in several industries in the servicing sector including retail, pharmaceutical, information technology and financial services. Through her audit acumen, Angele believes than an audit is not simply about portraying the numbers but is a testament of the company’s accomplishments and challenges. Through this mindset, Angele proactively acts to assist clients in identifying areas for improvements assuring sounder foundations for future ambitions.

Using CaseWare software, Angele also assists her clients and other audit service providers to create a streamlined, effective, and efficient solution for conducting assurance, analysis and reporting engagements.
