Background

The company is headquartered in Israel, while ECOVIS KSO works closely with its German subsidiary, Landa Digital Printing GmbH.

Issue

The engagement started in 2018, when Landa started to set up its European distribution centre. ECOVIS KSO guided Landa through the legal establishment, tax and business registration process in Germany. Since then, ECOVIS KSO has been assisting with legal and tax compliance services, including accounting and payroll support, labour and corporate law advice, VAT advice and others. In addition, ECOVIS KSO, together with colleagues from ECOVIS International, supported the business expansion to other European countries where Landa faced similar issues and challenges.

Solution

In addition to ongoing tax and legal compliance support, ECOVIS KSO acts as a single point of contact coordinating the advisory support in various countries, such as the Netherlands, UK, Italy, France, Spain and Belgium. The coordination service focuses in particular on VAT compliance, global payroll support and administrative assistance with insurance, banking and other specific local requirements in these countries.
