Ecovis helps start-up company gain competitive edge in Polish market
Background
Our client is a young and dynamic company offering a platform for online table reservations in restaurants. The company currently provides its services in 12 countries worldwide and is constantly looking to expand its market reach. Launched in 2012, this successful and fast-growing company in no time made it to the list of the top 25 European start-ups.
Problem
In 2014, our client decided to expand its business into Poland. Since there was nothing like this in our market, the company had a real opportunity of becoming a leader in this service segment. However, the company was likely only to succeed if it could become operational within a short period of time.
Solution
Our client’s positive experience of having previously worked with ECOVIS in several European countries was an important factor when asked to prepare an offer for outsourced accounting services in Poland. The company was looking for a flexible partner who could quickly organise accounting, HR and payroll services for the start-up and offer assistance in tax matters. From the initial offer, including the negotiation process, we were able to establish a permanent working relationship with our client in less than two weeks.
Currently
Understanding our client’s needs to respond quickly and effectively helped our client gain a first-mover advantage over its competitors. By the beginning of 2015, our client had already become a market leader in Warsaw, Cracow and Poznań.
