Law firms in Brazil: Vaz de Almeida recognised by the 4 major national seals of law

In 2023, the law firm and the experts at Vaz de Almeida Advogados were again awarded some of the most important national seals of Brazilian law. This significantly strengthens the position of the company, a member of ECOVIS International, on the South American market.

The most prestigious recognition was conferred by the “Análise Advocacia” yearbook, the largest and most relevant survey carried out on the Brazilian legal market, which named Vaz de Almeida among “The Most Admired Law Firms in Brazil by Major Companies 2023”. This achievement marks the 8th time the firm has been recognised. This year there was also special recognition in the field of tax law with the division, led by Mauricio Nucci, named as “One of the Most Admired Practices by the Market”.

Amanda Duarte also received recognition as one of the “Most Admired Lawyers in Brazil”. As a partner in the Business Law Division, this is the 2nd time Amanda has been featured in the yearbook. On both occasions, special mention was given to her work in the automotive sector and her prestige as one of the most admired lawyers in the State of São Paulo.

The firm was also honoured with the “Regional Law” seal, recognising its excellence among the most prestigious law firms in Brazil and taking into account its presence and influence in the country’s most competitive state, São Paulo.

The above-mentioned awards are all independent and not sponsored by law firms, with only the heads of the legal departments of the two thousand largest international companies operating in the country participating in the surveys.

Vaz de Almeida was also recognised this year for its strategic communication management. The firm was a finalist for the “Análise DNA+ FenaLaw Award”, an event aimed at honouring the best practices of Brazilian law firms in management, new technologies, marketing, diversity and inclusion.
