Visa Update: Schengen and Investment Visa

This article gives a small update to the changing Schengen Visa regulations on 12th October and how to deal with it. Additionally, there are some general information about the Investment Visa and how to achieve it.

Schengen Visa 

Starting from the 12th of October Chinese applicants for the Schengen Visa have to face new application regulations. This especially concerns Chinese employees in German companies who want to move to Germany for some time. The Visa Information System (VIS) is now enforced and obliges applicants getting their fingerprints captured. Therefore the AHK has to make some changes in the visa application process for its members. However, for making the process as smoothly as possible, there will be a special fast track service for employees of AHK 2015 member companies.

The application for applicants can be fulfilled either through the German Embassy in Beijing (for Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces: German Consulate General Shenyang) or TLScontact. The AHK is going to send the original membership certificate of each 2015 member to the German Embassy (for members in Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces: German Consulate General Shenyang). However in order to handle the fast track service, the AHK will also send a copy of each membership certificate to the corresponding member.

Investment Visa
