Cherry Picking, Paintball & BBQ – Company Outing 2015

Cherry picking, paintball, zip-lining, go-karts, bumper cars and speed boats are just some of the activities our ECOVIS Beijing team enjoyed on our company outing on 2^nd of June 2015.

To celebrate our 3^rd anniversary our whole team sallied out to the north of Beijing to spend a day at Yanqi lake. Blessed with marvellous weather, we started a day packed with exciting activities.

Firstly, the more adventurous among us engaged in a few suspense-packed matches of paintball that served as an excellent team-building exercise, while the colleagues less keen on getting shot at spend the beautiful summer morning roaming a farm and picking delicious cherries.

After re-uniting for lunch, the whole ECOVIS Beijing team visited the park around Yanqi lake, venue of the APEC 2014. Between zip-lining in considerable height over the lake, doing thrilling laps on the go-kart track, getting refreshed on a log ride and crashing into each other’s bumper cars everyone had a great time. Racing across the lake in speedboats we were able to take in the beautiful landscape and marvel at the impressive new hotels, built for the APEC last year.

In the early evening we headed back to the bus to fetch everything we needed for dinner. We set up a grill and our team prepared a delicious BBQ consisting of a plethora of meat and vegetables. As the sun slowly descended, giving way to a balmy summer night, we enjoyed a feast of chicken wings, shrimp, beef skewers and whole legs of lamb, which we washed down with German beer.

After a fun day, which enabled everyone on our team to get to know each other even better and in a more casual setting, we returned to the city. We surely celebrated our 3^rd anniversary in style and are excited for the years to come. As in the past, our excellent professional team will be what sets us apart and allows as to provide the best possible service to our clients. We want to thank everyone on the ECOVIS Beijing team for their commitment and hope to see each one of them (plus many new faces) on our next company outing!
